Wafa J. Hoballah, attorney at law, is admitted to practice law in New York and Lebanon. She is a registered and certified special Legal Consultant on the Laws of Lebanon and the Middle East with the District of Columbia Bar. She is a graduate of the University of The Pacific's McGeorge School of Law, California, the University of Salzburg, Austria, the Lebanese University, Faculty of Law, and the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

Ms. Hoballah's international law practice specializes in business, commercial and corporate law in and between the United States, the Middle East and West Africa, focusing on major aspects of international business transactions, negotiations, due diligence investigations, development and financing, and joint ventures.

Ms. Hoballah's national practice focuses on assisting Lebanese nationals with family, probate and estate matters, particularly as it relates to religious and civil laws, and its compatibility with local United States laws. Ms. Hoballah is an expert on US-Lebanese Comparative laws, including religious laws, as applied by the Lebanese courts.

In addition, Ms. Hoballah's practice concentrates on U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Combining her personal and legal experience with her cultural backgrounds, Ms. Hoballah provides legal services sensitive to the ethnic, business and cultural needs of the community including Political Asylum and Violence Against Women Act petitions.

Ms. Hoballah is the chair of the board of the International Visitors Council of Los Angeles, a chartering board member of the Lebanese American Foundation ,LAF, and a founding member and Vice President of the Los Angeles-Beirut Sister Cities Organization.

Christine Ghobrial has been an associate with the Law Offices of Wafa J. Hoballah since 2006. She represents the firm's clients in all facets of immigration law, including Employment-Based Permanent Residency, Family-Based Permanent Residency, Non-Immigrant Visas (E, F, H, L, O, T, U), Asylum, VAWA, and Naturalization. She also represents clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the BIA. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005 after graduating from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in corporate law. During law school she did immigration volunteer work with Neighborhood Legal Services and the Legal Aid Society. Prior to law school, Christine worked as a Financial Analyst with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. She also completed internships with the US State Department and the United Nations. Christine graduated summa cum laude from UCLA, attaining her undergraduate degrees in Business Economics and English Literature.
